Bright And Early
Tomorrow morning I am getting up early and heading to Chattanooga to meet up with MercyMe to talk about some blogging stuff. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little nervous. I’m not the best at being the focus of things, and I know tomorrow the guys are going to want to know the details about blogging and what it will do for them. I know there are plenty of things that we will be able to talk about and I know the guys will be cool about it, but it still weirds me out to go down there at “present” something to them.
However, I am really excited to work with them again and also excited to start working in on something that until now I have just done for fun. The last couple days have been pretty full with getting together a blog and making sure it works (which it doesn’t) and a million calls to Randy, asking him why those things aren’t working. So, I will be there all day tomorrow talking about different things and getting this thing going.

If you can share: are you encouraging artists to blog about just band-related topics or branch out to whatever they’re interested in (tech, sports, etc.) so that fans can get to know them more personally?
If you can’t share, I totally understand. You don’t want to spoil your business plan in the comments of your blog.
Not gonna lie, i am very excited. i love reading blogs. Yours is one i come to everyday and read up on. good luck with getting things set up for the band.

That’s exactly what I am encouraging them to do. I’m trying to get them to share more than what the record labels are trying to sell you.
