We rented Guitar Hero III for the week that our friends were out from California. The kids loved it, and after they all went to bed the parents played. I had played the game before on different tours, but Kristin and our friends hadn’t ever played. Here’s the thing. I’m not very good at all. Not even a little bit.
We returned the game and it only took two days before the boys convinced us and Kristin and I convinced ourselves that it would be fun to have it again. So I went and got it yesterday. Because we returned the game we didn’t have any of our progress saved so yesterday Blue and I had to start over. We started out on “easy” and worked our way through the first few songs. After completing a few songs, our band, The HotAwesomes, had advanced enough to “make our own video”.
Now, by the time The HotAwesomes are successful enough to make our own video, the songs have gotten progressively harder. Remember when I said I wasn’t very good? I suck at the “Make Your Own Video” level.
“What the heck? We are getting “Booed”?! You imaginary people in the video crowd can’t “boo” us at the filming of our own video! We are The HotAwesomes.
“And besides that can’t we just kick out the people that are watching us make our video and “booing” us? Who’s paying for this video anyway? And don’t get me started on not even letting me finish the song. So I miss a few notes, you can’t just turn off the music and let these people boo. It’s a video, aren’t we playing to a recording anyway?
Wait, this game really does make you feel like a rockstar. “Where’s my cheese tray!?”
