This morning went great thanks to my amazing kids, and my new found power in facial hair. We did all that we needed to do, and even stopped by Smoothie King for a healthy dose of blueberries. They are the super of superfoods you know?

As the day went on we played in almost every room of the house taking things apart, throwing things into a moving ceiling fan and watching it fly, eating tiny bowls of snacks. I had even started getting used to the nauseating smell of partially digested organic whole milk, as I was scrubbing it out of the carpet for the twentieth time.

Then it went south. I knew tonight was trash night so I needed to collect all the trash from it’s respective places and bring it outside and pull it to the curb. I grabbed our bathroom trash, the office, then went into the boys bathroom. I bagged up an uncountable amount of diapers and started to walk out of the bathroom. The last step in the bathroom it happened. My sock slowly peeled off the floor as if it were stuck in some sort of goo. I looked down to see a clear thick liquid puddled on the floor and upon further examination realized that it was an entire bottle of liquid baby soap. The entire bottle and been slowly pouring out all night last night and all day.

So how does one clean something like this up? Well… not with water I can assure you. Turns out, that makes bubbles…

    This one’s easy.

    1) Take above-pictured bathroom rug.
    2) Place said rug upon above-pictured soap spill site.
    3) Shove both hands in pockets, walk away whistling and looking in random directions.

after you get most of it soaked up with a dry towel or paper towels, a little bit of water should do the trick to get it up…

I love it… try paper towels… or just go with it and have a nice bubble bath with the kids…

depending how much the mess grew when the water made bubbles…. above method of absorbing it for small mess… shopvac on wet setting for large one… follow with mop to get last stickyness off, and tell mommy you mopped the floor for her when she returns.
