Cigarettes, Gasoline And My Friend Michael

[youtube=http://youtube.com/watch?v=a0tK70gN190]
My friend Michael came over late last night to hang out, talked about his lack of blogging, his new guitar, and what we have both been up to. Inevitably our conversation revolves around music or at least ends up there and my newest album purchase is a result of that.  Emerson Hart’s first solo album. I tried a few times to get it last night but for some reason iTunes was having issues. I downloaded it first thing this morning and it’s been background music for our living room soccer game all morning.51r9dbduw2l_aa240_.jpg

I described to my wife that the entire album sounds like the moody, sentimental part at the end of Scrubs. You know the part don’t you? The part where everything starts making sense and everyone on the show starts learning a deep meaningful lesson and the music helps almost make you cry? I’ve shared too much…

Anyway… ummm yeah… well even if you aren’t into that kind of sappy sentimental stuff, at least go to buy the song, “I Wish The Best For You”, and listen to it over and over. But you should probably just get the whole album.

That is all.

  1. This is a great record. By far my favorite track is #2 – Devastation Hands.

  2. I’ve liked what I’ve heard so far too.
