Last night was Orlando. Here is a picture of the the entire tour. After the show we all walked over to a restaurant where David and his wife Toni, graciously reserved a room upstairs and had at least a hundred appetizers laid out on the tables. We were out late, reminiscing, wishing the tour was going to be longer, and talking about what was next. I’ve already said it, but I will say it again. This group of guys have become great friends and I have loved working with every one of them.Tonight we are in Atlanta for the final show. The camera crew that was in New York is out again to film so it’s all business tonight.

My awesome wife is on her way here from Nashville for the show. Her dad and our neighbors are watching the boys, so Kristin and I will be able to watch the show, hang out with new friends and stay the night down here with no kids and no alarm clock in the morning. Then we will drive back together tomorrow for a few days to rest and slip back into a normal life.

I have a few things that I am planning on writing about. Including a post highlighting all the guys on the tour individually. There are so many great stories from this tour and so many great guys that I feel need to be recognized. Also, I have some pretty exciting news of a project called SongStomp that is in the beginning stages. It’s something that I know everyone reading this would love to be involved in and I am excited to move forward with it. So be ready for that and make sure to keep checking back.

As for now. We are about to sound check and get ready for tonight.

Brody - This pic turned out great. Everyone looks good, but your face is full on joy. You look so happy. Seeing that made me smile. At first I thought with how sick you were for so long and being away from your wife and boys so much that this tour might not end up with the best memories, but God is good and I can see and hear that this has truly been a blessed life experience for you. That rocks! Have an awesome time with your wife. Enjoy those moments alone to reconnect. I’ll be checking back to hear more about SongStomp.

so now when i call you its always going to be the same time difference.

Seriously, you should go home and sleep for a week. only get up when you have too and take naps when the kids do. thats what I would do.

I just want you to know that tonight in Atlanta I tried so hard to follow your “get in line to meet Phil” rule, but there was no where to form a line. We ATLans weren’t trying to break the rules, it was just an awkward setup- the stairs and all. Please don’t be mad at us. :) Great show. Glad y’all stopped in.

I agree with Melody, son. You look very happy. So glad you had a wonderful time and great experiences. I am, also looking forward to hearing about your new venture.
    Love you, son. Mom
Melody, you truly have the gift of encouragement. Thank you so much for using that gift .

Barb - Through a series of circumstances, the Lord led me to find your wonderful son and his amazing wife’s blogs. God is so very sweet to us and He can use anything He chooses to bless us (even “strangers” blogs). Isn’t that neat? Anyway, I just have to say it is I who have been lifted up and delighted in this extension of your awesome family. Obviously, you have followed after God’s heart in sowing His Word in your family and it is reaping a fruitful harvest. Blessings, admiration, and appreciation to you. Have a joyful and purposeful holiday season. Bye!

Annie. No worries. ATL did great. There really was no place to line up, and the stairs were awkward. Glad you got to say hi to Phil though.

    Awww. Sad it’s over.
Brody is there a video somewhere of Phil singing “the light will come”, that you could put on youtube or something?
