It’s 11:59 PM Eastern Time. What that means to me is that in less than sixty seconds it will be officially my youngest little boys first birthday. One year ago today Kristin and I were alone in a hospital room in downtown Nashville, watching TV waiting for the arrival of out third and last little boy. It was moments after midnight that he showed up, screamed a little, then fell asleep.
It’s rough for me to not be home for his birthday, but I know that when I get home we will be able to celebrate all together. Tomorrow I think Kristin is planning on taking him and his brothers to breakfast for his first pancake, and then to a science center to play with weird science stuff, and crawl around putting dirty things in his mouth.
I miss him more tonight, but can’t wait to see him Saturday. Our life wouldn’t be the same without that tiny person. He’s opinionated, loud, happy, and one of the sweetest babies I have ever seen.
Today we celebrate his life, and his future. Happy birthday Cooper Trey.

I can’t believe he’s one already! What a precious gift God has blessed you with in Cooper Trey.

Happy b-day little man!
Happy Birthday precious Cooper. Praise God for your blessed little soul and for placing you in just the right home. What love your daddy and mommy have for you. Enjoy your cake (be sure to make a mess…face first buddy, none of this “using your hands stuff”)!
God Bless - Melody M.
Happy birthday!
I am having a very difficult time commenting here. Cooper is an amazing gift to our family. We love him, of course, miss him greatly and pray for his life to be an example of our loving Lord who gave him life. Happy Birthday, Cooper Trey, your gift is on it’s way and Mammo and Papa will call you later.
Love you so, (your big brothers, too) Mammo
