Last night was easily the best show of the tour.

The atmosphere in the middle of San Francisco in The Fillmore was amazing. It was the perfect venue for this tour, and the perfect type of crowd. Everyone that played tonight stepped it up a notch for the show too, starting with The Myriad. Those guys put on the best show that I have seen them do so far. I think it was because they are from Northern California and The Fillmore is an amazing place to go watch shows. I was able to run into several friends of mine, and hang out a bit and grab some dinner with them too.

Today we are in Redding where Phil is doing a show by himself, so although it’s a day off, we are sitting at a Starbucks figuring out how to get everything done that we need to do today. I do think these antibiotics are finally kicking in though. You’d think that the shot in the butt would have made that work a little faster, but today is day twelve of waking up congested with no voice, and a cough.

I’m excited to head to Portland tonight after the show. It’s at the top of my list of great cities, and I get to be there for two days. I will try to get some more pictures, and get them up on my photo page. Until then… I need to find a Wal-Mart.

…I guess straight lines make all the difference in the world. Glad you are finally starting to feel better…but I do not know if the Portland air will be the best thing for your condition…although the contact high might make you forget how much it sucks to be sick. And, as usual, awesome picture.

jeff… all we would find was a Target…. you cool with that low price leader?

I always though Target was pretty expensive for a ‘lower price’ establishment, actually.
I prefer Walmart’s prices but I must admit the quality of Target’s merchandise is much better.

yeah, target’s cool. that i am aware of, they don’t tell their employees, “sorry our benefits suck so bad. here’s some information about to get on medical.”

i agree w/ raquel that target’s merchandise is a much higher quality … that’s why they have security guards at the front of each store. hope redding went well.

Actually at the Target I go to doen’t have any security in front of it. Only some huge, concrete, red balls attached to the floor that are about 3 feet high. I’ve never understood the purpose they serve.

I want to know how a sick dude keeps from getting the lead singers sick?

I was sad you didn’t call me when you were on your way to LA. All roads lead through the city I work and it would have been funny what I texted you about.

I am so glad that the post about the wonderful concert at the Filmore got mostly posts about Target and Wal-mart. What is wrong with people? The concert was much more interesting to talk about and I should know because I was there.

Sorry Jessie…uhh…we have a tendency to take sarcastic control over blogs…..our fearless leader makes us do it….his name is Shawn !!! I personally like both Target and Walmart…..and Rice-a Roni….and flowers in my hair….or was it flowers in Brodys hair….and for that matter, Phil ought to have some flowers too !!!!

Yeah but it’s not like Phil needs to get more in touch with with his feminine side or anything.
    His tight pants are enough.

Brody, however, would look nice with flowers in his hair. And Jessie I wasn’t at the concert like you were so I wouldn’t know what to say about it anyways. I wish I could, but Phil has created an imaginary force field around South Florida so I may never get the chance. Therefore, I have nothing else to talk about besides Walmart and Target. How sad :[

I did not realize people would not have caught my sarcastic intentions. And for the record. I am a Target fan.

oops…..lol….sorry Jessie….we failed you !!!! After a reread I see it…I do !!! We are all just a little touchy since Phil hasn’t blogged in like forever….I still need to check for today though…a glimmer of hope???? ( said with lots of sarcasm….hahaha.)

    Brody,
I just wanted to say thanks for the show at the Filmore. That was an incredible experience. Nice balcony, a little high to jump off of though. Hope you get to see your wife soon.
