Canada Is Different, Eh?
We only had one day in Canada but it was long enough to get a taste. Now I am not going to judge the entire country by one stop, but that place was different. It felt like everyone I talked to was interviewing for a job. Very friendly. Very professional. Very clear, complete, wordy sentences. It kind of weirded me out. Even though a bunch things weird me out.
“So you’ve heard of The Great Lakes, have you?”, I was asked. “Ummm, yeah. This is my first time to Canada, not the first time out of my house.”
Crossing the border was fun. A hair disorganized, but fun to watch Canadian chaos. Lot’s of “Eh’s” and “Go over there’s”, but eventually we figured out how to get across. Coming back into America this morning was as easy as showing a passport from the car window.
Tonight we are in Canton, Ohio at Malone College. Then we have a freaking early flight to New Jersey tomorrow. But at least there are two, yes two, high school football teams staying in the same hotel as us tonight.
Isn’t this some kind of holiday weekend?

It’s Labor Day “Eh”. Whatcha doin workin’ Hoser? Your Boss must not like you “EH”?
God bless your soul…hope you get some rest tonight…and don’t kill any football players
As long as you don’t want anything to eat while you’re in the hotel with the football teams, you should be OK.
