“…We show the suspension was reinstated yesterday….”
Outgoing Correspondence
Department Of Safety
**Does anyone else think this sentence, supposedly saying that I have my license back, doesn’t really make sense? Wouldn’t it be a bad thing if the “suspension” was “reinstated”? Wouldn’t that come across as my… oh, you know… “suspension was reinstated”?
“Excuse me, Department of Safety? Did you mean to say that my license has been reinstated?”**
At any rate, I am planning on driving today, so if there isn’t anything posted on here for a while, I’m probably in jail. Have a good Wednesday.

Maybe it’ll be one of those good Hollywood-style jails. Watch out for CHiPs!
It’s written in governmentese so it makes perfect sense.
