The more I think about it, the more impressive this video gets because this had to be one take. No, “let’s try that part again”. If one of them messed up, they would have to dry off everything and completely start over.

Two thoughts: 1. Why are musicians so weird? I don’t mean to offend or be rude, but who sings songs like that? Not the song, but the I’m-a-cool-rebel -who’s-misunderstood-and-never-smiling facial and body expressions. Is that like a required thing to be a rock star? Can’t there be happy rock bands? Just wondering…
2. Was that a potato? I so don’t get that. Maybe it’s another cool rock star thing…

Okay, enough cornball. All around cool video. In my humble opinion I would have liked it better if I didn’t see the Jacuzzi jet filling the room with water. Just maybe water rising. I wonder how many takes that took. Awesome song.

Most impressive was the drummer. He looked like he was still pounding the kick drum through the whole thing. Impressive.
I had a hard time breathing watching the instruments get drowned. Those aren’t CG. That’s a real keyboard we just witnessed the death of.

For some reason, watching this video, I am strongly reminded of the Talking Heads and David Byrne’s mannerisms while singing. Maybe its just me . . .
